Rooted: A Southern Tasting Experience

Join Black Roots Sauces & Seasonings for a 90-minute guided tasting demonstration held on the final day of Black History Month.

What to expect

Menu: Mustard greens, hot water cornbread, black-eyed pea hummus, roasted chicken, and garlic aioli.

Each dish will demonstrate the versatility and depth of Black Roots seasonings. This is an intimate experience that highlights how Southern food traditions, shaped by history and culture, continue to influence modern cooking.

This is a cooking demonstration class. Meaning you will watch and learn instead of chopping along with your instructors. The curriculum focuses on seasoning with intention, understanding technique, and building balanced flavor across both traditional and contemporary dishes. This class is appropriate for home cooks of all skill levels and offers enhancement to your practical skills while honoring the roots behind the food.

Participants will receive a $5 off $25 coupon for their participation in the class.
