Join us for a high-energy performance as Purple Funk Metropolis showcases their raw and captivating sound. Their musical journey, which began in the jazz classes at the University of Minnesota, has evolved into a powerhouse collective with a reputation for getting the entire room dancing.

The band, featuring Andrew Tomten (Bandleader/saxophone), Alex Browne (trumpet), Sam Rosenstone (keys), Tarek Abdelqader (drums), Andy Schupp (bass), Alex Graves (guitar), and Evan Slack (guitar), has matured their sound through years of performing and recording. With the addition of Evan Slack, their live energy has reached a new level, allowing for even more dense and dynamic arrangements.
