Introducing Nourish & Network Hours – In-Person Lunch & Learn Events for Minnesota Fundraisers

The Association of Fundraising Professionals of Minnesota (AFP-MN), in partnership with the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits (MCN), is launching a series of monthly, in-person gatherings designed to foster connection and peer learning among fundraising professionals in our community.

Topic: Starting an Individual Giving Program from Scratch

Whether you’re in a small shop or navigating shifts in funding, this session will provide an opportunity to discuss practical insights and shared experiences. AFP-MN Board member and Major Gifts Officer at Washburn Center for Children, Drew Coursin will open the conversation with a brief presentation on building an individual giving program, followed by peer discussion and small group breakouts.

We also invite experienced fundraisers to join us to share their knowledge with newer fundraisers.

Session Flow:

• 12:00 PM – Arrive, connect, and eat lunch (bring your own!)

• 12:10 PM – Brief presentation

• 12:20 PM – Full group discussion

• 12:35 PM – Small group breakouts

• 12:50 PM – Share out & wrap-up
