LION (Local Investment Opportunities Network

Come learn more about Shared Capital Cooperative, a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) loan fund that provides financing to cooperative businesses and housing throughout the United States. Shared Capital’s mission is to build a just, equitable, and democratic economy by investing in cooperative enterprise.

Shared Capital happens to be based locally in Saint Anthony Park, and often has Twin Cities or Minnesota specific investment options.

LION is a quarterly gathering of local investors (anyone can be an investor!) and business owners. Come learn about local investing in a friendly, informal setting, and learn about businesses. If you hear from a business that you might be interested in building an investment relationship with, you can connect with them following the meet-up.

Dual Citizen is less than a block from the MidCity Farmers Market, which is every Wednesday through September from 4-8 pm, featuring local farmers, producers, artists and chefs. Stop by before or after the LION gathering.
