Recent hateful flyers have caused pain and concern across our community. This meeting is a space to come together — not to amplify fear, but to share accurate information, updates, and concrete steps we can take to keep one another safe.
Our goals for the evening:
✅ Provide accurate, grounded information.
We’ll share a clear overview of what’s been reported — without exaggeration or unnecessary anxiety — so everyone knows what’s happening and how to respond.
✅ Hear updates from law enforcement.
SPPD has confirmed that there is an active investigation and that additional officers have been canvassing the neighborhood. We’ll outline what residents should do if they find flyers, how to report them safely, and what laws apply in this situation.
➡️ In the meantime, if you find additional flyers in the neighborhood, please call 911 and report their location for the ongoing investigation.
✅ Identify community-based next steps.
We’ll explore how neighbors, faith communities, district councils, and local partners can stand together — countering hate with connection, storytelling, and collective care.
This is a space for neighbors to show up for one another, share a meal, and strengthen the bonds that make our neighborhoods resilient.
💛 Let’s meet fear with solidarity, misinformation with clarity, and hate with love.
