Belly Groove: Beginner Belly Dance Class is at 6:30 PM on Thursday nights. Inside From the Ground Up Therapy and Wellness

This welcoming class introduces you to the art of belly dance through a blend of traditional Middle Eastern, folkloric, and American fusion styles. You'll explore isolations, rhythm, and musicality while building body awareness, coordination, and personal expression. The focus is on connecting the mind to the body, the dancer to the music, and the student to the community, not perfection. Come move with intention, tap into your natural groove, and celebrate the joy of dance in a supportive space.

Bellydance is an ancient art, a body language that uses essential movements of nature is also an effective system to enhance the self-esteem and femininity of women, with multiple benefits on a physical and therapeutic level.

No prior dance experience is necessary, and it is perfect for all fitness levels. Please arrive a few minutes early for easy check-in

* We will have loaner hip scarves for you if needed.
