Join us on Saturday, September 13th, for the 6th annual Be The Light walk, run, or jog, through downtown St. Maries in remembrance of those lost to the completion of suicide; and in an effort to raise awareness of this tragic event claiming the lives of loved ones.

The "Be The Light" walk will have the same NEW Start/Finish Location this year!! The walk begins at the Elks Lodge where the parking lot will mark the start/finish line of our 3K walk with the annual balloon archway. Walkers will walk down Main Street, turn right at 10th Street and left on Idaho Ave to go by the Cormana Building, around the baseball fields, up 15th Avenue, and along College Ave. The turnaround point will be at the Loggers Memorial where the walk will turn around and come down through town on Main Street, returning back at the Elks Lodge. The "Be The Light" trail will clearly be marked so you won't get lost!

On-site registration and check-in opens at 8:30 AM. The guest speaker will start around 10am with the walk starting shortly after.

Breakfast options will be provided by Taco Bout It. Coffee and Lotus will be provided by Em's Place. So arrive early and plan to stay after!

The 2025 Be The Light shirt design is the design above - "Stay." The design is printed in teal and purple (Suicide Awareness colors) on a navy blue t-shirt or sweatshirt. There is also a small sleeve printing that allows the walker to write the name(s) of who they are walking for.

Registrations that include the purchase of a 2025 Be The Light t-shirt or sweatshirt must be processed by September 1, 2025 but if you register after September 1st and you realize you really need a 2025 Be The Light t-shirt or sweatshirt, you can still order online and there will be order forms available the day of the event! They just won't be ready for pickup until AFTER the walk.

Online Registration closes on Friday, September 12th at 5pm.

**Suicide survivor resource information and crisis intervention information will be available.

All proceeds benefit Benewah County Suicide Prevention Action Network, Idaho.
