The workshops will emphasise the crucial role of educators in fostering sustainability. In a world increasingly driven by environmental challenges, it is imperative that educators, as role models, lead the way towards more sustainable practices. Their influence shapes students' minds and inspires colleagues to adopt greener, more responsible actions.
The importance of Education for Sustainable Development goes beyond the academic. It is a call for action. As role models, educators are in a position to impart knowledge and demonstrate sustainable behaviours in their daily lives. These workshops will focus on equipping educators with the tools and insights to champion sustainability in their schools and communities. By embedding these values into their work and leading by example, they can create lasting impacts beyond the classroom.
