✨ Violin virtuoso Ji Young Lim, First Prize winner of the Queen Elisabeth Competition, takes centre stage with the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra for Beethoven’s Violin Concerto in D Major, a masterpiece of lyrical grace and emotional depth.

🎶 Under the baton of Sergey Smbatyan, the programme journeys into fantasy and mysticism with Stravinsky’s neoclassical ballet Le Baiser de la Fée (The Fairy’s Kiss), inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s The Ice-Maiden and infused with Tchaikovsky’s melodies.

🌌 The evening culminates in Scriabin’s Le Poème de l’Extase, a lush and philosophical symphonic poem that radiates spiritual transcendence and emotional intensity.
