In this Sunday’s Gospel (Luke 17:5-10), the apostles ask Jesus: “Increase our faith.” Jesus responds by reminding them that even the smallest seed of faith can do great things.
Faith, then, is not about its size, but about trusting God in the everyday moments of life. In the Gospel, Jesus also speaks of the servant who simply does his duty—a reminder that faith is lived out in humble service, without expecting recognition or thanks. We are therefore invited to celebrate the little acts of kindness, compassion, and service that make God’s love visible in our day to day life.
Sometimes we may wonder if what we do really makes a difference. Jesus reassures us that God takes even the smallest steps of faith and multiplies them. A kind word, a helping hand, a patient heart—these can all become mustard seeds that grow into something greater than we could ever imagine.
So we invite you: come and be strengthened in faith, come and pray with us, come and share in the joy of being God’s people together. Whether your faith feels small or strong, God welcomes you and has a place for you at His table.
Please join us this Sunday at 11am at Sacred Heart School Chapel.
We encourage you to consider inviting a neighbour, friend, or family member who may be searching for a word of hope.
May the Lord who increases our faith bless you and keep you always.
