Join us for a serene and transformative evening as we celebrate the longest day of the year with our Summer Solstice Sunset Yoga & Meditation session followed by an Anthropology discussion and tour around the temple.
Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the setting sun inside Ħaġar Qim temple, this special gathering invites you to connect with nature, nurture your body, and quiet your mind.
We have exclusive access to hold the session inside the temple during closing hours.
Starting off with a calming meditation session, designed to cultivate inner peace and clarity, while honoring the powerful energy of the solstice.
As the sun dips below the horizon, we’ll flow through a rejuvenating yoga practice, grounding ourselves in the earth’s energy and welcoming the abundance of summer. The evening will culminate with an Anthropology discussion about finding the creativity within and become more in touch with the natural world around you as a participant and not just an observer.
Whether you're a seasoned yogi or a beginner, this event offers a chance to embrace the present moment, reflect on your intentions, and celebrate the vibrant energy of the season.
Bring your mat, your breath, and your open heart as we gather together in this sacred space to celebrate international yoga day.
Why Summer Solstice?
Notably, during the summer solstice, sunlight passes through an elliptical hole in one of the stones, illuminating a slab within the temple—a phenomenon that suggests the builders had a sophisticated understanding of astronomy .
