Democrats in Action: Building Berrien’s Future

The Berrien County Democratic Party is hosting weekly canvassing events to connect with voters, share resources, and build the momentum it takes to win. Knocking on doors and having real conversations is the most effective way to turn people out to vote, and your involvement makes a direct impact.

Locations will vary — be sure to check each shift on Mobilize for details.

We’ll start with a short training—no prior experience needed. You’ll learn how to have meaningful conversations with voters and why canvassing is so powerful. Research shows that face-to-face contact is the best way to get people to the polls, and every conversation helps strengthen our community’s voice.

Canvassing does involve some walking, but we welcome volunteers of all abilities. If door-to-door isn’t a fit for you, there are other meaningful ways to get involved—like phone banking or writing postcards—to help us reach even more voters.
Whether you’ve canvassed many times before or this is your first time, this is your chance to help power real change in Berrien County—one door, one conversation at a time.
