Carrying on the legacy for Gary Gatewood

As many know, Katie has lost her husband Gary Gatewood and their 5 children have lost their father in a very tragic hunting accident Wednesday September 4, 2024. Gary was the sole financial provider for their family as Katie has had to be home to be a medical momma. Those who know this beautiful family know that they have a 3 year old, Charleigh, who is a miracle and on life support at home and 2 additional young daughters, Kambria (7) and Khloe (2). They need all of the support they can get during this time while things move forward without their husband and daddy.

As we creep up on the year anniversary of Gary passing, Katie has struggled very much to find her new normal. Things have seemed to only get harder. Katie and the girls are about to begin a new chapter that will hopefully bring some light in their darkness. They just purchased a new home and will be moving very soon. They have been extremely blessed with a huge support system but it has also been a lonely and isolating one. As many know Gary started up his own cornhole brand before he passed as it was his dream. We as in the cornhole family has decided to start a cornhole tournament in memory of him.
