Youth in Philanthropy: Recycling Drive & BBQ

In its second year, the Youth In Philanthropy program, led by board member Anthony Enman, is coming to its completion. The program is delivered monthly over the course of the school year and teaches students about philanthropy, the impact of giving, and prepares them to run a fundraiser supporting a cause of their choice.

This year, for the student-led fundraiser portion of the program, the students have chosen to support the Saint John SPCA, and will host a bottle drive and BBQ on Saturday, May 10th from 10am - 1pm (BBQ will begin at 11am).

You can drop off your recyclables and/or grab a hot-dog (by donation) all to support these young philanthropists.

Unable to make it on the 10th but want to support the group? You can drop off your recyclables at Golden Mile Redemption on the West Side — just tell them it’s for “Youth In Philanthropy.”
