Three original one-act plays, one unforgettable evening! Script Happens presents the latest works from New Brunswick’s finest emerging talents. Join us for a night of creativity and passion! The 2025 lineup includes:
The Guilt That Follows by Dino Andriani, directed by Jonathan Bruce
A drama that centers on a pair who were once in love but have since become just friends. They grapple with understanding the breakdown of their past romance, each accusing the other and unwilling to confront their own faults.
The Two Hour Bride by Stacey Richards, directed by Denise McGill
In this gripping historical drama, the final emotional moments of an IRA rebel facing execution on his wedding day are explored, along with his fiancée’s desperate efforts to save him.
Paul Frown Really Goes for It by Ryan Griffith, directed by Jason Robertson
This entertaining play set in a quaint NB town humorously blends the antics of a man awkwardly rehearsing a monologue about a deceased horse, his friend filming him from an impractical distance due to his preference for “long shots”, and their eccentric pal who keeps interrupting to rehearse a post-modern play they recently finished performing.
