Rendezvous At The Straits Powwow and Indigenous Art Show

Experience the spirit of tradition at the Rendezvous, a public event welcoming all with admission by donation. This authentic Native American Powwow showcases traditional dancing, drumming, and singing. Explore vendor demonstrations, hand-crafted arts and crafts, and delicious Native American cuisine. A family-friendly, alcohol- and drug-free gathering, the event is proudly sponsored by the St. Ignace Events Committee, the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians, and Kewadin Casinos.

In addition to the powwow, there is also a Indigenous Art Show, featuring unique and culturally significant pieces from local indigenous artists and artists from abroad.
