Join us for a powerful evening of poetry, storytelling and reflection as we honor the life, words, and impact of the late Andrea Gibson—an icon of spoken word, mental health advocacy, queerness, and truth-telling.
Andrea’s work cracked open conversations around grief, identity, love, illness, and what it means to really be alive. Their poems helped so many of us feel seen, held, and understood—and now, we gather to give something back.
This tribute will feature live performances by:
Linda Stay
Morgan Barrick
Astrea Chaumette
Corey Allred
Kaitlin Sevy
Each poet will perform one of Andrea’s pieces followed by an original poem/storytelling inspired by their influence.
At the end of the evening, we’ll open the mic for 30 minutes of community sharing—for anyone who feels called to read a poem, a memory, or a few words of love and gratitude for Andrea.
This is a free event. All are welcome. Come as you are. Bring your heart.
Let’s honor Andrea the best way we know how: with poetry, presence, and truth.
