We will be spending quality time with Olaf and Sven this summer!
First United Methodist Church St. Cloud will be directing what we call 'Frozen Camp' for students between 8 and 18 years of age. It will culminate with a three-day performance of Disney's Frozen JR.
We will begin with auditions on Saturday May 31 at 9:00 am followed by callbacks on Sunday June 1 at 2 pm in the sanctuary of First United Methodist Church Saint Cloud. A maximum of 50 participants will be selected to be part of the production. We will need both a cast of players (at least 40) and have a number of backstage opportunities available as well.

WHAT TO EXPECT: Auditions are casual and supportive and comprised of two parts:
1. Performing cold readings, selected songs and improvisation
2. Dance audition; wear clothes you can freely move in
Notifications of cast and backstage positions will be posted June 1, 2025 by 8 PM ET via email, Facebook and our website.
You must accept the assigned role/position to attend "Drama Camp".
CAMP: WHAT TO EXPECT: We'll be teaching and developing youth Campers to perform in the musical Disney's Frozen JR. and focus on acting, dance and vocal skills. Daily rehearsals with lessons in stage presence, projection, character development, vocal and dance training, backstage etiquette and blocking, stage make up and application, set construction and stage terminology will be taught. All Campers will be required to participate in set up, stage construction and painting and tear down. Campers selected for backstage opportunities will focus on behind-the-scenes activities and be involved with all production elements.
'Frozen Camp' will run June 16-21 and 23-26 from 9 AM-4:30 PM.
Performances will be Thursday the 26th and Friday the 27th at 7:00 pm, as well as a matinee performance on Saturday the 28th at 2:00 pm.
