Pop Up Beach

Get ready to feel the sand between your toes in St Albans!

This August, Civic Close will be transformed into a vibrant FREE pop-up beach, perfect for families looking for some summer fun.

Bringing a summery atmosphere to the city centre and a free area for children to play, St Albans City Centre Business Improvement District (BID) has organised for a giant sandpit to be installed just outside The Alban Arena, complete with buckets, spades and faux ocean views.

Sunday 3rd August 12pm – 4pm, then 10am – 4pm daily.

Seating not provided. Bring a blanket or camping chair.
