Amadeus Chamber Orchestra 50th anniversary concert September 2025

We are delighted to present a celebration of our 50th anniversary in St Saviour's Church, Sandpit Lane, St Albans.

MENDELSSOHN - Hebrides Overture
BACH - Brandenburg Concerto No. 4
MOZART - Wind Serenade in C minor
BEETHOVEN - Symphony No. 4

We welcome back Conductor Emeritus Simon Thompson for a wonderful programme, with guest conductor Sarah Devonald, formerly principal oboe, directing the Mozart Wind Serenade. Our soloists for the Bach Brandenburg Concerto are our leader Jennifer Wigram (violin), our current principal flute Janna Hüneke, and we are welcoming back former principal flute Judith Bowman (née Hill).

The 7:30 concert will be preceded by a reception from 6:45pm, when you are welcome to join us for a free drink!
