This restorative acupuncture experience will immerse you in deep relaxation. You will be guided through gentle movements, preparing for calm stillness in supported postures with props and blankets. In this space of calm, several acupuncture needles are carefully placed along meridian lines to harmonize the flow of Qi, promoting energetic balance. While in this rested state you will have the option to receive hands on energy healing. This 90 minute experience will be paired with aromatherapy essential oils and meditative instruments. Acupuncture supports both physical and emotional health by activating the parasympathetic nervous system. This is beneficial in relieving stress stored in both the mind and body.

About the Facilitators:

Tavia Reyes (RYT500, Chiropractor) has been facilitating mindful movement since becoming a certified yoga teacher in 2016. She has taught yoga to all age groups including children in Northern India while volunteering as an English teacher abroad. She is based in Saint Petersburg FL where she works as a licensed chiropractor at Flourish Chiropractic & Kinesiology. She specializes in applied kinesiology and is certified in acupuncture. Before becoming a chiropractor she studied exercise science and medical neuroscience. She integrates this education into various movement and healing forms.

Vandana Dillon (E-RYT 200, Reiki Master) has been guiding yoga & meditation in Tampa Bay for 16 years and with the world renowned Humanitarian Mata Amritanandamayi Devi (Amma) throughout the US. She has led/co-taught five RYT200Teacher Trainings and currently teaches as Awaken 2 Yoga and Awaken 2 Yoga Retreats in the beautiful Sunken Gardens in St Petersburg, FL. She also leads workshops and wellness retreats in Yoga Nidra, Sound Healing, Reiki and Women’s Empowerment. She is the Founder of the St Pete Yoga Fest and the President of the Florida Yoga Teachers Association.
