2025 Hurricane Preparedness Day

Join the City of St. Petersburg and Pinellas County for a free event to help you and your family get ready for hurricane season! Event highlights will include:

- A chance to win a free generator
- Presentations by industry experts, including National Weather

- Free hurricane kit supplies
- Evacuation zone lookup
- Special Needs Evacuation Program registration
- Emergency shelter demonstration
- Sandbag demonstration
- 2025 Hurricane Guides
- Free pet services (with purchase of a County license): Exams,
rabies shots and microchips
- Opportunity to see emergency response vehicles up close
- Free food and beverages provided by The Salvation Army
- Kids playground and education zone with weather-related arts and crafts, and free popcorn and snow cones
