Take A Kid Fishing Event (free event)

Catch some quality time with a child in your life.

Join us at hands-on fishing stations to practice knot tying, casting, baiting a hook and more. Other fun games and activities will be available. Bring your own pole or borrow one of ours.

No experience or equipment needed.
No fishing license needed if fishing with a youth.
Lead tackle and fishing line collection and recycling.
All ages

The event is light rain or shine. In the event of severe or significantly rainy weather, event staff will determine if the event will be cancelled on the morning of Sunday, June 8. Updates, including cancellation notices, will be posted as available on the Dakota County Parks - forever wild Facebook page, or you can call the Lebanon Hills Visitor Center at 651-554-6530.
