Saturday Night Comedy at Gambit Brewing with Greg Coleman & Alysia Wood

The popular Saturday Night Comedy at returns! For our final weekend show of the season we've got national headliner (and St Paul's very own) , whose album "Dad's Garage" hit #1 on the comedy charts. He's also been featured on Comedy Central's Hart of The City and has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in comedy including Tom Segura, Hannibal Burres, and Janelle James.

Also joining in on the fun is very special guest Alysia Wood, a product of the Seattle comedy scene whose album "Princess" was released by Grammy-winning producer Dan Schlissel of Standup! Records. Alysia was also featured on NBC's Last Comic Standing and the 2014 documentary "I Am Road Comic" (Amazon Prime, Apple TV). Read more about Alysia and Greg below!

Greg Coleman

One of St Paul’s very own, Greg has built a name for himself nationwide. Working his way from “House Emcee” to booked headliner in 3 short years at one of the most respected comedy clubs in the nation, Acme Comedy Club, Greg now headlines clubs across the country. His album “Dad’s Garage” hit #1 on the comedy charts and his follow-up album “Sex Receipts” was also Top 10. Greg has been featured on Comedy Central’s Hart of the City, NBC’s Stand Up For Diversity, and was a performer at the SXSW and 10K Laughs comedy festivals. He has also shared the stage with comedy heavy hitters such as Tom Segura, Hannibal Burres, Janelle James, and SNL’s Michael Che and Colin Jost.

Alysia Wood

A product of the Seattle comedy scene, Alysia’s comedy album “Princess” was released by Grammy award-winning producer Dan Schlissel of Stand Up! Records. She was also featured in the 2014 documentary “I Am Road Comic” and appeared on NBC's Last Comic Standing.

In addition to being a comedian, Alysia is an actress, frequent podcast favorite, guest columnist, and was selected as a “Hot Comedian” by Campus Activities Magazine!  She made frequent appearances on Seattle TV shows “New Day NW”, “Up Late NW” and “The [206]” before relocating to Minneapolis.

Jesse The Shrink

What do you get when you mix a shrink & comedian? This guy! Jesse is a bona fide licensed therapist & standup comic who gives audiences a sneak peek into the inner-workings & often hilarious experiences of a mental health professional. Whether he’s talking about navigating virtual therapy sessions during an apocalypse or just trying to figure out what to tell drunk people he does for a living, one thing’s sure: after hearing his stories you’ll never see therapy (or your therapist) the same again!

Jesse is the producer & host of Jesse The Shrink’s Midlife Crisis Show, the St Paul Comedy All-Stars Show, Friday Night Comedy at Gambit Brewing, St Paul Art Crawl Comedy Night, Therapy & Politics, & the 420 Standup Comedy Show.

He’s also co-founder of Freshly Squeezed Comedy, creator of the Funniest Person in St Paul contest, & runs a weekly comedy open mic at Gambit Brewing. Jesse won the 2024 Clear Water Comedy contest at The Plus in Eau Claire, WI, was a 2024 Funniest Person With A Day Job finalist at House of Comedy in Mall of America, & is a regular guest on the Tom Barnard Podcast.
