Experience the 2025 Maryland House & Garden Pilgrimage in St. Mary’s County
St. Mary’s County, MD – The St. Mary’s County Garden Club warmly invites you to explore the
historic homes and stunning waterfront gardens of Southern Maryland during the Maryland House & Garden Pilgrimage on Saturday, May 31, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This exclusive, one-day event offers a rare opportunity to visit some of the region’s most beautiful private properties.

This year’s tour will feature historic waterfront estates, colonial architecture, and lush gardens,
highlighting the deep roots of Maryland’s early settlers. All proceeds from the event will support
the preservation of St. Ignatius Church in St. Inigoes, one of the state’s oldest Catholic
churches.

Date: Saturday, May 31, 2025
Time: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Rain or Shine)
Location: Various homes & gardens throughout St. Mary’s County

Tour Highlights:

17th-century origins.
- Enjoy special performances, wine tastings, and complimentary bourbon samplings at select
locations.
- Gain exclusive access to homes and gardens not open to the public outside this event.
Additional Information:
- Properties are open on the day of the tour only, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Please note that no pets are allowed, and there is a full charge for children. Children under ten
years of age are not permitted.
- Online tickets are available for $41.75, which includes a $1.75 processing fee.
- You must bring proof of online ticket purchase to exchange for a regular ticket(s) and tour book with map and directions.
- Tickets will also be available at all tour locations on the day of the event, $45 cash or check only please.

Lunch Information:
Lunch is available by pre-order only. Delicious boxed lunches may be purchased for $21.00 and
can be enjoyed onsite (or available to go) from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Dodge
Performing Arts Center located on the grounds of St. Mary’s College of Maryland, 47855
College Dr., St. Mary’s City 20686.

Lunch Options:
- Chicken Salad sandwich on a croissant roll (includes chips and a cookie)
- St. Mary’s County famous WJ Dent & Sons Stuffed Ham sandwich (includes coleslaw, chips,
and a brownie)
- Vegetarian sandwich (includes chips and a cookie)
- Gluten Free Chicken Caesar Salad (includes chips)

All lunches include a bottle of water. The cost is $21.00 per box, available by pre-paid
reservations made by May 15, 2025. Your check is your reservation; please indicate your
sandwich choice(s) on the check memo line. If you wish, please include your email address or
phone number for confirmation of receipt. Please mail your check payable to the St. Mary’s
