Join Living the Wilderness for another unforgettable evening on the shores of Matura Beach as we witness one of nature’s most awe-inspiring events — the leatherback turtles returning under the moonlight to lay their eggs.
Each year, these gentle giants journey across oceans to nest on our shores. Now's your chance to see them up close in their natural habitat, guided by experienced turtle conservation personnel. It’s a peaceful, educational, and humbling experience — perfect for nature lovers, families, photographers, and wildlife enthusiasts.
Cost:
Adults: $250.
Children 12 and under: $200.
Groups of 5 or more enjoy $25. off per person
Transport $100 additional from Mt Hope Hospital Car Park
An online bank transfer required to book permits for each person.
Deadline for payment is 15th May 2025.

✅ Comfortable walking shoes 👟

✅ Water bottle 💧
✅ Light snacks 🍌🥪 (no littering please!)
