Following the huge success of their IMDB approved Film Festival, Sykehouse International Film Festival would like to announce an innovative joint writers conference and film festival that will take place in the North Wales in October 2025.
Sykehouse Film and Writing Festival is designed to create the maximum networking opportunity for Writers and Film Makers to come together along with interested fans of crime & horror in film and book.
The weekend will start on Friday afternoon at 1pm with the first round of literary panels. After dinner there will be a networking mixer (drinks not included). Saturday the film and writing festivals will run side by side. Dip in and out of our panels or watch the back to back films selected for our festival. Or attend one of the writing workshops, hone your skills and learn how the pros do it!
Saturday evening you'll join us on the Red Carpet and for pre-dinner drinks, followed by our gala dinner and awards evening with our first ever crime and horror writing awards THE NOOSE followed by SYKEHOUSE FILMFEST AWARDS. All peppered with music, comedy and all out fun.
