An Embodied Exploration of the 8 Chakras in Kundalini Yoga

This exploration offers insight into how each chakra functions, how imbalances may show up in daily life, and how Kundalini Yoga practices support a steady, awakened flow of energy through all eight energy centers. According to yogic texts, the chakras are understood as energy centers of consciousness that influence our physical vitality, emotional balance, mental clarity, and spiritual awareness. Kundalini Yoga focuses on eight chakras—from the grounding Root Chakra to the expansive Aura, the electromagnetic field that surrounds and protects the body.

Through posture, breath, mantra, meditation, and focused awareness, Kundalini Kriya Yoga activates and harmonizes each chakra, allowing energy to rise and circulate through the system.
