Whoooooo’s interested in owls?
We invite you to come to Tamarack Wildlife Center on Friday August 29th, from 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. to learn all about owls! Donations are welcomed at this free event.
Pennsylvania is home to eight species of owl, and Tamarack is privileged to have four of those species as ambassador birds. This program will feature owls on the glove for participants to see up close while educators share facts about their amazing adaptations that help them to hunt, hide, communicate, and more in the wild!
We will be sharing stories of owl patients from this year and information on how participants can help to protect owl populations.
This program will take place on the grounds of Tamarack so we recommend bringing lawn chairs or a blanket to sit on. This program will be outdoors and weather-dependent. If the program must be cancelled, we will communicate via our Facebook page, this event page, and our website home page.
Please park on the southern side of Stull Road if the small lot is full.
