Katy Jones

A breathing workshop directed by Katy Jones. Katy is the Principal Trombonist of the Hallé Orchestra, Senior Tutor at the Royal Northern College of Music and a Buteyko Breathing Practitioner.

Her career as a musician has taken her all over the world. Previously Co-Principal Trombone with the London Symphony Orchestra (the first female brass principal in the history of the orchestra) she has recorded on soundtracks for over 50 feature films and video games, including Star Wars and several of the Harry Potter series.


About the workshop

Understand how to breathe well, and to use these simple changes to create big improvements in your health.

Katy Jones has a unique skill set, being the only professional trombonist in the UK who has both a Pharmacy Degree and Qualification to teach Buteyko Breathing. Her knowledge and practical experience allows Katy to highlight what impact poor breathing habits can have on our lives, and communicate how we can help ourselves.
