On October 18, 2025, my non-profit organization DFH will be undertaking our LAST fundraiser, which is our 20th anniversary. In 2025 we will end with a celebration of 20 years of helping people.
This fundraiser will be helping multiple people with medical bills. I would really appreciate your support to help them. We are helping 10 year old Paige Daniele-McGraw. She is in need of medical devices not fully covered by insurance. Paige has Rett Syndrome, she is a resident of Saddle Brook, so helping a person in my home town makes this more special. Also helping Stephen Krane who is a pediatric cancer survivor. Unfortunately the cancer has cost him one of his legs. Lets help him cover his meds. (His father Barry is a member of our local drum circle community) Again helping people in need is very important to me.
We will feature an interactive drum circle and welcome back Robert Levin & The Rhythm Monsters, & The Caravan Belly Dancers giving us wonderful cultural performances. Also some musical surprises by Tommy's Jigsaw Band. Its possible more will be added.
We will have our annual costume contest/parade with prizes offered to the best 3 adults & kids. (Costumes optional). Tricky Tray prizes will be offered. There will be multiple grand prize winners of various drums. So far I have an autographed tambourine signed by all members of the classic rock group Vanilla Fudge. A sure collectors item. We also have a professional pair of LP Congas on a stand worth over $500. Im also working on getting a djembe to raffle. Pulling out all the stops for my last goround!
We would like to raffle some prizes at this event and are looking for any type of donation within your means. Merchandise, musical instruments, gift certificates, & gift baskets are great ideas. If you know anyone in sports, or music, entertainment, etc. who would autograph something for us to raffle that would be a help. Any cash donation will be most appreciated and will help us raise money for the fund. Any checks can be made out to me Thomas J Hayes (contact me for a mailing address). I don't keep anything, after expense the charity gets everything we raise. I'm hoping to get some great food donated.
Over the last 20 years Drums From Heaven has raised almost $125,000. for worthy causes. It's my sincere hope that you can help me make this next event a successful one too. For that matter lets go out with a bang & make this our biggest fundraiser ever!
Volunteerism is down everywhere. I can't do this alone. My plea: If anyone can please help set up and or just stay a half hour at the end to help break down, it will really help! PLEASE contact me if you can help.
