SLC Sunday Experience: Will We Judge or Will We Love?

In John 7:24 Jesus tells us not to judge by appearance, but to judge with righteous judgement.  Let's talk about what that means in our day to day lives, and how unconscious our judgements can be. A photographer, who in the course of knowing Mother Theresa, observed how she always approached each person with love, compassion, and the gift of her complete self. When asked about this she replied, "I never judge anyone because it doesn't allow me the time to love them."  Let's use our time to Love!

How these colors were chosen:

White often symbolizes purity, the righteousness of God, and the cleansing that comes with surrendering to God. It also represents new beginnings and the spiritual transformation, often associated with angels and the garments of those who have been redeemed. 

Lilac, in the context of worship flags, represents a sincere and heartfelt offering of one's self to God 

Gold can represent the "riches" that come from surrendering to God, and reflects the abundant life and spiritual inheritance that comes with aligning your will with God's.
