Join us for the First Motorcycle Rodeo at Sacramento
Harley-Davidson of Sacramento presents the Sactown Showdown. A Motorcycle Rodeo for both law enforcement and civilian riders. We are excited to promote skilled motorcycle riding, where experienced riders can further sharpen their riding abilities and civilian riders are able to build upon their current skill level.

8:30am : Range is open for law enforcement
9am - 11am : Civilian rider seminar on Rodeo
1pm : Range is open to law enforcement + registered civilian riders

Rider Classes & Divisions
(A) Expert (Not your 1st Rodeo):
The expert class is open to any active or retired law enforcement motorcycle officers and civilian riders who have participated in more than three skills events.
(B) Novice:
A rider who has never participated in a skills event or a rider who has never placed in a novice skills event. Note: The intention and spirit of the novice group is to encourage riders to participate, learn, and grow their skills so they become more proficient and progress into the Expert class.
(C) Civilian (1st timer):
A rider who has taken the California Motorcycle Safety Programs 1-Day Premier Course or other higher level training. Note: the intention and spirit of the civilian group is to encourage riders to participate, learn, and grow their skills so they become more proficient and progress into the novice & expert classes.

Import : (A) Expert (B) Novice
Civilians
Rider Requirements:
Participants must dress appropriately. The following gear is required to participate
Long pants (heavy denim or riding pants recommended)
Over-the-ankle shoes (boots recommended)
Eye protection (helmet visor, eye glasses, sun glasses)
Full-finger gloves (motorcycle specific recommended)
DOT-certified helmet
Valid motorcycle endorsement on your driver's license.
Valid motorcycle registration & Insurance
At least 1 additional higher level training (CMSP 1-DPC class recommended)
**Civilian Qualification: Riders must demonstrate their abilities via video submission or on practice day to secure "Competitor" status on event day.
