This event is for the local Polyamorous/CNM community, and those curious about Polyamory/CNM! This is a gaming and community space, NOT a play, dating, hookup, or NSFW space. Keep it clean, we're in public. We are not visible at this location as a Poly group, some concerns have been raised about that. We're identified as the group with the Purple Unicorn. Staff have always been amazing every time we've come though!
Bring your your favorite board/card/party style games or Magic Commander decks, or just yourself! I will have games that I bring (variety of Trivia, party, card, and discuss/debate type games), but bring what you enjoy if you have anything.
Please come around 6pm so we can break off into gaming groups around 6:15. At 6:15 sharp I facilitate a quick game share where I go over the games I've brought, and give others space to share about what they brought if they want. We then take a vote on what we want to play, break up into our groups, and begin gaming.
You are more than welcome to come late and I will try to fit you in to a game if you do, but understand if we're all in the middle of one this may be difficult. I used to say "yeah, come late we'll fit you in!" but logistically, in reality, and in experience, not all games are flexible that way. Some are are people can come and go, some aren't. So, I do highly encourage you get to the event before 6:15 if you can! Coming just to observe and/or hang out is ALWAYS ok!
Venue stays open until 10pm and we are welcome to stay until then. I put the end time at 8pm as that's around when I usually leave (I live and work in Lodi as a sub teacher. ;) ) Will gladly expand this event to closing (10pm) if there's someone willing to host the second half!
There may be others gaming at the location so look for the stuffed purple unicorn to find this group and get oriented!
