Join us for a memorable showcase of stellar writing read by professional actors. On Friday, May 9 at 7PM (doors open at 6:30) CapLit will present selections from new fiction by two powerhouse authors - Lori Ostlund and Christine Murphy.
Ostlund's short story collection Are You Happy, was praised as "A piercing collection...these stories will dazzle readers" in a Publisher's Weekly starred review. And The New Yorker noted Murphy's Notes on Surviving the Fire as "...layered, with a thriller’s bones, a satire’s glare, and a comeuppance story’s anarchic spirit."
Come meet these authors, be enthralled by selections of their work, and have them sign your copy of their book - available for sale at the event. Wine tasting and nibbles at no charge, all for a suggested $10 donation at the door.
