• Nick Barry is a British-born designer and Design Director at Goodness. With 15+ years in digital, print, and brand design, he’s known for his collaborative spirit, creative experimentation, and mentorship across local and global projects.
• Melissa Muganzo (SHE/THEY/SIS) is an activist, entertainer, and founder of Muganzo Entertainment. A dynamic cultural leader and humanitarian, she champions Black ingenuity as a catalyst for global progress in technology, entertainment, and beyond.

For 10 years, we’ve been tearing down silos, lifting up new voices, and fueling Sacramento’s creative fire. This event series honors that legacy—and sets the tone for the next decade.

About Creativity Speaks
Creativity Speaks is a program designed to celebrate local creatives, offer attendees a source of inspiration from creatives outside their industry, and strengthen Sacramento's creative community. The program manifests as live salon-style events and features traditional and non-traditional creatives to help draw a mixed audience and encourage intermingling between creative industries. Creativity Speaks is dedicated to equitable representation and a celebration of the diversity of creative thought.
