Join us for the Meisner Technique Acting Intensive with Jay Whitehead!
The Sanford Meisner Acting technique is based on the notion that acting is "being truthful under imaginary circumstances." This workshop invites actors of all levels to learn or 'brush up' on their Meisner through intensive exercises that are designed to develop the actor's imagination, find and deepen meaning in their work, create meaningful and truthful relationships with scene partners and practice and learn acting with a process that is at once both inspiring and practical.
Jay Whitehead leads the workshop having been certified at The True Acting Institute's Meisner Certificate Training Program with Larry Silverberg in Salem, Oregon. Jay is the current J.E.A. Crake Fellow in Drama at Mount Allison University in Sackville, New Brunswick.

The workshop runs from Monday July 28 - Saturday August 2 at Mount Allison’s Motyer-Fancy Theatre daily. Participation in the workshop is $300.
