The DEER MOTHER is in many traditions honoured as a guardian & giver of Life itself - carrying the Sun in between her antlers and weaving a bridge from darkness to light for the people of the Earth.
Her Spirit invites us to remember the place within us that innately knows our connection to the land, the lakes, the forests & the hearth.
Our connection and alliance with the primordial forces of nature that cannot be subdued, even in times of great chaos and confusion.
The elemental voices of women are essential in this dance, as the vibration of our womb’s song weave dreams into creation - of the world we pray to see for our children.

In this retreat, we have the blessing to have the presence of grandmother Marakame Micaela TKaima with us, who will share wisdom teachings from her Wixarika nation, as well as their traditional way of ceremony with us.
The Wixarika people are one of the few indigenous nations that survived and preserved much of their culture, language and healing traditions intact through decades of colonisation.
So in this way, we are blessed to weave between the elemental medicine of Woman’s Womb Voice, and also be carried by an original guardian of the Blue Deer spirit of Wirikuta (México).
