The Shire of Beau Fort invites one and all to our 25th annual event. Yes, our Silver Anniversary. Nowruz is a Persian Spring Festival. The weekend will start with a simple traveler's fare (supper) followed by a Stargazing class on Friday night. Saturday you will find dance classes featuring Eastern and European dance. Arts and Sciences Classes (A&S) and Youth Activities, exploring Spring Festivals of the East and West. Martial Tournaments for both Heavy (rattan sword) and Rapier enthusiasts. Did we mention Merchants? We hope to have a good group for your browsing pleasure. It is our hope that Their Royal Majesties will hold a Court, with a tasty feast on the field. (Feast Gear provided BYO cup/mug) (Weather permitting) The day's festivities end with a Haffla (eastern dance party) Bardic (poetry and song) Ball (European dance). We hope you will join us in all the celebrations!
