Calling all kids!
Please join us at Wonderfeet Kid's Museum for a very special story time event with Phil Hall to celebrate his new book, The Day the Children Saved the World!
"Not every superhero wears a cape or soars above. You can save the world today by filling it with love."
What does it take to be a superhero? In The Day the Children Saved the World, children from all walks of life–and from every letter of the alphabet–save the world through gestures of kindness, love, and respect. From Ayva’s act of selflessness to Zahira’s generous affection, readers are introduced to a diverse cast of characters who showcase the power of positivity in shaping a better world for us all. By performing simple but profound tasks, the children demonstrate that even the smallest actions have a significant impact.
As they join children from all over the globe in their quest to save the world–one act of kindness at a time–young readers will be inspired to embrace the idea that love is the ultimate tool for change. The Day the Children Saved the World is a heartwarming and beautifully illustrated reminder that every one of us, regardless of age, is capable of leaving a lasting impact on the world.
Phil Hall, an elementary school principal, recognized that young people need to understand the importance of prosocial behavior—choosing to act in ways that help and uplift others. Motivated by this belief, he wrote the first draft of The Day the Children Saved the World, a story designed to share this vital message with children everywhere.
