Phoenix Books Rutland is excited to welcome local author Kristen Ramey for story time on Saturday, October 18th! Kristen will be reading her new picture book, Inex & Alex.
About the book:
Kids have a lot of things to think about everyday such as school, friends, family and activities. On this day Inex is faced with choosing the right decision over the easy decision when his neighborhood ice cream truck is in trouble. Inex teaches his younger sports-crazed brother, Alex, a life lesson of doing the right thing when someone needs help.
Inex & Alex is a colorful and tasty story that teaches the importance of doing what is right, especially when the unexpected happens and someone needs your help.
About the author:
Vermont native Kristen Ramey, B.S., Psychology & Education, has been an elementary school teacher for 25 years. Writing a children's book was always a dream of hers and incorporating her years in the classroom and the expectations of good manners, awareness and responsibility led to the story of sports-minded brothers,"Inex & Alex."
