JOIN US ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 25TH, BEFORE & AFTER THE RUTLAND HALLOWEEN PARADE!
On the evening of Rutland Recreation's 64th Annual Halloween Parade, scheduled for Saturday, October 25, 2025, several downtown organizations will collaborate to create a spooky atmosphere on Center Street, both before and after the parade. The streets around Center Street close at 5:00 PM for the parade.
5:00 PM to 6:30 PM: ACTIVITIES FOR KIDS
→ Families who arrive downtown early are encouraged to visit the Downtown Rutland Partnership for fun craft activities... with a very special guest, soon to be announced!
→ Visit with the Mythical Menagerie to see the Sasquatch family (including Dad, Mom, and baby 'quatch), along with some Yetis and other fun creatures!
→ Clover Exploration is creating a free Play-Scape: a little "street" of playhouses where kids can decorate for Halloween and practice their best "Trick or Treat!" Some will hand out pretend candy, while others will hop from house to house, creating a magical and playful Halloween experience for everyone.
6:30 PM: RUTLAND CITY 64TH ANNUAL HALLOWEEN PARADE
Presented by Rutland Recreation, join in on the celebration of a tradition spanning over 6 decades! The parade will begin at 6:30 PM. Viewers are encouraged to dress in the spirit of Halloween!
The parade will be LIVE broadcast on PEGTV for those unable to attend. The parade route consists of Strong's Avenue, Wales Street, West Street (from Wales Street to Merchants Row), and Merchants Row.
8:00 PM to 10:00 PM: CENTER STREET SILENT DISCO
After the parade, Come Alive Outside and The Paramount are excited to host Rutland's first-ever Center Street Silent Disco on October 25, 2025, from 8:00 to 10:00 PM, immediately following the Halloween Parade.
This all-ages celebration will turn Center Street into a lively outdoor dance floor, where participants can enjoy music through wireless headphones. Families, teens, and dance lovers are encouraged to join the fun, switching between DJ channels and dancing under the stars. With glow sticks and energetic beats, this event is the perfect way to keep the Halloween spirit alive in a safe, family-friendly setting.
Tickets are $5 for pre-registration and $10 at the door (cash only). Headphones will be provided with entry. Costumes are encouraged, so gather your kids, friends, and your best dance moves to light up Center Street with laughter and joy! Event tickets coming soon.
