Food, Art, Brew: Mural Dedication with Dreaming Stone Arts & Ecology Center

After a rigorous three weeks of mentoring, planning and creating, our Mural Mentorship Program is complete! Come celebrate the installation of this Mural Project with us before FAB this coming August 1st.

This mural explores our local food systems, future food security efforts, and public art as a tool for community revitalization

The mentees of the program will be guests of honor at this event and highlight their stories about the creative process. Their collective efforts will have a beautiful public reminder of an inspirational, purpose-driven, and relationship-building process that will animate community vision and demonstrate our collective power.

We are grateful fort the co-sponsorship and coordination with the Rutherford County Food Council and the Rutherford County Visual Arts Guild. This project is supported by the Town of Rutherfordton and the North Carolina Arts Council, a division of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources.
