Father Tim Sahd
The Jubilee of Hope has pulled millions of Catholics to Rome to experience something that we need to feel at every moment: Unity in the Body of Christ. How can we live this unity in a world that seeks to divide, even in Catholic circles?
Fr. Sahd has served as pastor at Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Middletown for four years. He was born in Columbia, PA, and is one of four brothers in his family. After graduation from college, he became a political analyst and journalist in Washington, DC, and then worked in his family’s metal recycling business in Columbia before being called to seriously discern the Priesthood in 2012. After his ordination in 2018, Fr. Sahd was parochial vicar at St. Joseph in Mechanicsburg and chaplain at Trinity High School before being assigned to Seven Sorrows.
