Price: $5 (+$1 processing fee) p/student (and any adults wanting to participate in the fossil dig)
Parents: FREE (if not participating in the fossil dig)
Minimum: 10 participating students/adults
Maximum: 60 participating students/adults
Agenda:
*Presentation (10:00-10:20)
*Tour Both Museums & Small Gift Shop (10:20-11:20)
*Fossil Hunt (11:20-12:00)
*Enjoy a picnic lunch (12:00-12:30). Note: no meal service is available on site or within 5 miles of preserve.
*Explore Camp Bayou Outdoor Learning Center on your own (12:30-2:00). Includes: Butterfly Garden, Visitor's Center, Geocaching & Letterboxing, Enchanted Forest, Nature Center, Uzita Native Peoples Camp, Hiking Trails through various habitats, and Historic Fishing Cabins.
What to bring:
*A packed lunch
*Plenty of water
*Sunscreen
*Bug repellent
*Hiking shoes
*Clothes that can get dirty (students will be digging in dirt and sitting on the ground)
