Botanical Sketchbook Workshop in the Nene Wetlands

Join Botanical Artist and illustrator Sophie Smith for a relaxed workshop indoors illustrating winter foliage by layering brush pens with coloured pencil.

No drawing experience necessary- it’s about using the sketchbook to stop, look and get hands on with nature, whilst also meeting like minded people and enjoying wildlife in our group.

Sophie will have all the materials you need for this workshop. You will be given a sketchbook for your drawings but please feel free to bring your own if you prefer.

Sophie Smith is a Botanical Artist and Illustrator based in Northamptonshire, specialising in coloured pencil. A graduate of the Society of Botanical Artists, she has had works exhibited at the Mall Galleries in London and is also an active member of Northants Open Studios.
