Calling all Burns Night Lovers!
The Rushden & District Veterans' Group is organising a Burns Night on Saturday 24th January 2026, 7pm for 7.30pm at The Masonic Hall, Wellingborough Road, Rushden, NN10 9PN.
There will be bag-piping, songs, haggis, tatties and needs, Ode to the Haggis, the Laddies, the Lassies Reply, the full splendour of a typical Burns Night as celebrated all over the world.
There are 80 seats for up for grabs and 37 have gone already! We will only run the event if we get a full complement. Cost is £33 a head and diners must be 18 years of age.
If you are genuinely interested and wish to attend this event, which is open to the public, please email your name and contact number, plus any dietary requirements such as gluten free, vegetarian, etc to
cmR2Z2V2ZW50cyB8IGdtYWlsICEgY29t as quickly as you can, because people had to be turned down last year.
Dress: Why not dress to the nines in Tartan, Kilts, DJ, Mess Uniform or simply suited and booted with collar and tie. Ladies know how to dress and it's easier, so long dress, cocktail, whatever is suitable for a Burns Night.
There will be a Raffle on the night with proceeds going to the Mayor of Rushden's chosen charities 2025/2026.
Finally, last year's Burns Night was hugely successful and this is being laid on by popular demand.
