Summer Day Camps

We are currently booking for the June and July Summer Day Camps.

This years camp dates are-
June Day Camp 16th – 20th On Site
July Day Camp 14th -18th On Site
August Day Camp 4th -8th On Site
August Day Camp 11th -15th Off Site
October 25th & 26th Annual BBQ & Camp-out with the Horses


All on site day camps start at 9:00AM and end at 5:00PM. There is before and after care available.

On site camp activities include daily horseback riding, crafts, games, educational demonstrations, and more.

The off site day-camp activities vary and may include… but, is not limited to Prairie Meadows (stables &/or racetrack), Elk Rock State Park (trail ride & BBQ all day Thursday), the Des Moines ARL (Second Chance Ranch Horse Rescue), Iowa State University Large Animal Services, the Iowa State Fair (Wednesday horse show and all things horse at the state fair), horse transportation education, tack shop(s), our hay field, grain mill, shavings mill, feed store(s), Over the Top Ice Cream Shop, and other horse related and non-horse related businesses.

All camps come with the opportunity to purchase our Black Friday special— buy 5 lessons get 2 free. This is a $120 savings!

Summer 5-day on-site session camps are $500.
Special off-site camp $550. Partial camp attendance is pro-rated.
