Schist-mas In July

Schistmas in July is a weekend of climbing, camping, and community at Barn Door Hostel in Rumney, New Hampshire. Open to climbers of all levels, this event is about connection, inclusion, and having a good time together outside. The name comes from the rock that makes up the cliffs at Rumney, schist.

We’ll have AMC-led events (must sign up for each activity individually), educational sessions, raffles, live music, a bonfire, games, and a whole lot of Schistmas Cheer. You can expect plenty of time to climb, relax, and make new friends. Bonus points if your campsite is decked out and you bring cookies to swap.

Whether you climb 5.14 or 5.fun, lead or follow, or just want to spend a weekend with good people outside, come on by. Our goal to to connect climbers, share knowledge, stoke on the sport, and give the community an excuse to get together.
