Rotary “Pack the Bus” School Supply Drive

It’s that time again — let’s help local kids start the school year strong!

Join the Rotary Club of Ruidoso on Saturday, July 26th at Walmart for our annual Pack the Bus event. A big yellow school bus will arrive at 8:00 AM, and our Rotary booth will be ready for donations by 9:00 AM.

We’re inviting our entire community to come by, say hello, and pick up a few extra school supplies while you shop. Every backpack, notebook, pencil, or pack of crayons donated will go directly to students in our local schools — giving them the tools they need to learn, grow, and thrive.

Want to help but can’t make it that day? No problem — check out the supply lists on the Ruidoso Municipal Schools page, pick up some items ahead of time, and we’ll make sure they find their way into the hands of kids who need them most.

A heartfelt thank you to Katie Kmetz, our local schools, the school bus system, and Walmart for making this possible — and to every neighbor who donates, shares, or simply spreads the word.

Rotary is people of action — and together, we can make sure every student gets off to a bright start this year!
